Gagarin international airport (managed by MC Airports of Regions) has prepared punctuality rankings of the airlines performing flights from the city of Saratov. All airlines are split into two groups: national airlines performing one or several daily flights, and all other Russian carriers. Foreign airlines have not been rated because the global pandemic forced suspension of international flights from Saratov starting on March 2020.
The punctuality leader in the first group is Aeroflot which performed 95.6% of all its flights without any deviation from the scheduled time, followed by S7 Airlines (95%), by Pobeda (88.6%). The second group’s leader is Red Wings with the punctuality rating of 97.6%, followed by Azimuth (88.9%), by UTair (88%).
The rating includes flight performance data from 1 Jan. 2020 to 31 Dec. 2020. Any deviation from the scheduled departure or landing time by more than 15 minutes was treated as a delay, unless it was caused by bad weather conditions.
